Clarity when specifying work will reduce a quote massively. Unknowns and complications are risks and will force me to raise the financial safety bar.
Sourcing your own materials is a great way to reduce the price of any estimates. I can offer guidance on where and what to purchase as part of my service. Certain Items such as Cable, Electrical accessories, containment & sundries are more cost effective I supply them. I will not install anything that impairs the safety and suitability of an install.

Do you guarantee of your work?
Yes, general workmanship has a lifetime guarantee, if something has been unintentionally installed incorrectly.
Most consumable materials (Floodlights, Downlights, Extractor Fans ect) I use come with a 5 Year manufacturers warranty and I would upheld this. I wouldn’t uphold a warranty of customer sourced goods.
